MIAMI BAY FOG

Yes, sometimes the Bay gets some heavy fog. The thing is impressive, plunging Miami Downtown into a ghostly, unreal atmosphere.

This Fog, that begins to form when water vapor condenses into low clouds, is sometimes called Sea smoke. Also known as steam fog, it is created by cold air passing over warmer water.

As you can see, this beautiful phenomenon affects navigation somewhat.
